If you’ve ever wanted to see what happens when a dream team of wedding creatives comes together in the heart of the wild, this styled shoot at Bon Game Reserve is exactly that kind of magic. Think open landscapes, soft golden light, and a whole group of ridiculously talented people bringing a vision to life.
We (Garden Route & Klein Karoo Weddings) coordinated the shoot, and honestly, it was one of those days where everything just clicked. The concept and styling came together beautifully thanks to Frolic Decor Hire & Styling — Natasha crafted a look that felt earthy, romantic, and perfectly in tune with the natural surroundings. And Vanderfax absolutely nailed the florals: lush, wild, and full of personality.
Bon Game Reserve itself offered the perfect backdrop with a blend of nature, luxury accommodation, the majestic vintage bridge by the river with amazing food and drinks. This created exactly the vibe we wanted: effortless African elegance. From the dress, suit and models…. everything just worked together.
Capturing it all was The McKenzie Collective, and they brought their signature magic behind the lens. Their footage and photos showcase every detail, from cake to majestic views. It showcased the vision we had as we saw it on the day.
The dress was another showstopper from Bridal Inn, who dressed our model head-to-toe in dreamy gowns, accessories and shoes, while Occasions in George supplied the perfectly tailored suit and groom’s accessories. Hair and makeup by @karinchan added that soft, polished glow that tied everything together, creating several looks throughout the day as the mood changed.
And of course, the sweet finishing touch: Sweet Joy Wedding Cakes delivered a picture-perfect cake, KallyVille Luxe Events created the beautiful stationery, and The Great Green ZA added those gorgeous plants that brought the entire setup to life.
The final result is a warm, stylish, naturally beautiful shoot that shows just how incredible weddings in the wild can be. In a natural setting that offers its own decor and inspiration, this shoot shows that you don’t have to spend millions on making your wedding look luxurious and exquisite.
