How did you get started as a wedding vendor? Has this always been your dream job or did you fall into it by chance? Tell us your story!

For the past 10 years, my husband and I worked in the superyacht industry—yes, just like Below Deck, but with way less drama! We travelled to over 22 countries and planned everything from F1 yacht parties in Monaco to milestone celebrations in the Maldives and the South of France. I would dream it up, and Daniel would make it happen—building structures and turning our ideas into reality, whether onboard or right on the beach.

The move from yachting to events felt really natural. Both worlds demand precision, high-pressure decisions, and absolutely no room for error. With years of experience catering to ultra-high-net-worth clients, our goal now is to make every client feel like a billionaire on their special day.

I’ve always loved the planning and detail that goes into events, while Daniel thrives on the hands-on side of things. He says there’s no better feeling than setting up our marquee or perfecting a lighting installation and seeing it all come together.

What services do you offer to your clients?

We’re a one-stop shop for all your event needs—from planning and coordination to the actual venue. We offer our large Black A-Frame Marquee, which can be set up anywhere—even in your own backyard. It can seat up to 400 guests and be customised in size, anywhere from 10m x 10m to 20m x 35m.

We also supply a variety of flooring options, including dance floors, beach aisles, wooden walkways, pool coverings, and full marquee flooring. When it comes to lighting, we offer fairy lights, naked bulbs, basket lights, curtain lights, and even fully custom installations based on your vision.

You can also choose from our elegant draping options—ceiling strips or full wall backdrops—and a wide range of furniture, including chairs, tables, bars, patio heaters, umbrellas, and even lawn games to keep your guests entertained.

Our crew has over 10 years of experience in the events industry, and we bring a whole lot of passion, precision, and attention to detail to everything we do. We genuinely love this work and show up with energy and commitment—rain or shine.

Our goal is always to leave clients and guests thinking, “Wow, how did they pull that off?”—instead of “I could’ve done this better myself.” We want your event to feel completely seamless and unforgettable.

How do you make sure each wedding reflects the couple’s personality and style?

It really comes down to getting to know the couple. That’s something I learned well during my years in yachting. We often had only 24–48 hours to understand a new guest’s preferences and create an experience they’d never forget. We had to pay attention to every little detail—what they said, how they reacted, even their body language.

Now, even a simple video call gives me a great sense of what a couple loves—even if they’re not big talkers. We create mood boards, explore Pinterest ideas together, and really dive into their style, hobbies, and vibe. Whether it’s surprise dancing shoes for the bride or sparkler machines for the party, every detail is chosen to reflect them.

How do you stay inspired and continue innovating in the wedding industry?

I’m that person who cries every single time the bride walks down the aisle. There’s nothing more beautiful than two people in love, surrounded by their closest friends and family. Being chosen as their planner or vendor is such an honour—it never fails to move me.

Creativity is such a big part of what we do. I’m constantly looking for ways to make things better—whether that’s hiding cables or transforming a plain ceiling into something magical. I follow amazing event vendors from around the world for inspiration, and then we put our own unique spin on the ideas. I love collaborating with other planners, florists, and stylists to come up with new, exciting concepts.

What’s the most important advice you give to your clients?

It’s your day—so follow your heart (and your budget)! If you want something out of the ordinary, like a pink elephant or a late-night taco truck, go for it. Just make sure you choose the right vendor who can bring that vision to life.

Surround yourself with a reliable, experienced team. That makes all the difference. And if your budget allows, hire a planner or at least a day-of coordinator. They’ll keep everything running smoothly, reduce stress, and help you make decisions that elevate the entire experience.

Can you share one of your most memorable weddings and why it stands out?

That’s such a tough question because every wedding we’re part of is meaningful, and I keep a little memento from each one. But if I had to choose, I’d say a recent wedding at Forest Hall really stands out.

The bride was South African, the groom American, and their 74 guests flew in from all over the world. The bride had planned an entire itinerary for them—a mini South African tour—before the final celebration in Plettenberg Bay. She hand-made so many thoughtful, personal touches, and the menu featured dishes inspired by three different countries along with traditional South African desserts.

Even though the couple was already legally married, their love felt brand new and incredibly powerful. It was also freezing that day, but the cold didn’t matter—everyone was completely swept up in the joy of the moment. It reminded me why we do what we do.
