Hi, I’m Chantel from Lluvia Photography! I’m a lifestyle and wedding photographer based in beautiful Mossel Bay — right on the edge of the spectacular Garden Route — and I feel so lucky to spend my days documenting love stories all along this amazing coastline.

Lluvia photography is amazing.
We had Chantel photograph our wedding, and she did an excellent job. As a amateur photographer myself I was skeptical and critical of every photographer we considered; but Chantel blew our expectations out of the water.
She went out of her way to document every moment, while ensuring we had as comfortable experience as possible.
She was well prepared, having the day planned down to a tee. Her plan was even more diligent than we had for ourselves, clearly showing how experienced and meticulous she was.
She made our day special, we could not have asked for more.

I got engaged in April 2023 and asked on Facebook for recommendations for wedding photographers. I can’t even remember who suggested Chantel, but I started corresponding with her and arranged our engagement shoot.
The moment my (then) fiancée and I met her, I was so at ease as Chantel simply radiates a warm friendliness. We had our engagement shoot at the train station in Potchefstroom and it was such fun! Chantel had her own ideas, but was also open to our suggestions. Time flew and the shoot was over before we knew it. We got the most amazing shots!
We got married in March 2024 and Chantel did a lot behind the scenes in the months leading up to our big day. From suggesting beautiful venues where we could get dressed, to going there, as well as the church and the venue where the reception was being held, to check what the light around those times would be.
Now, this is where Chantel played the most important role, in my opinion. She actually scheduled our day and helped compile a timetable for the reception, which was a massive help!! This was not her first time around the block, so she had an idea of how long everything would take, more or less, and we planned everything around it. That took a lot off my shoulders and I could just relax and enjoy our special day.
Again, the shoot was great fun with Chantel helping to check my dress and veil. My now husband and I were so at ease during the shoot and just in love with the end product. Chantel delivered the pics at a very reasonable time and compiled a beautiful personalised box for us with prints and soft copies. Chantel’s service and/or product is also very reasonably priced in my opinion, which is a bonus when planning and budgeting for a wedding.
I would recommend her to anyone, anytime!
